A huge day underwater filming our latest piece for Artlist. Always love pulling together these shoots and everything that comes with them - getting given a creative and tricky concept to run wild with and try nail some unique shots.

Lots of moving parts from all the different departments - all working together at the same creative goal.

Another amazing trip wrapped in the kingdom of Tonga working on a dream project with @phoria.io @view_phoria

Super excited to see what these guys do with this footage we captured. They are at the forefront of the VR space - specialising in cutting-edge Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality so being able to watch our underwater whale footage through virtual reality goggles / headsets and other outlets is going to be amazing 🙏🏼

This year on the islands definitely had its challenges - plenty of 3am wakeups, long days on out the boats, bad weather, whales on the move. It really felt like we had to work hard and put in the extra effort to get the shots we needed. But that’s all part of it and makes it all the more worth it when you have good days.

Thanks for the last minute new Siren / Raptor dive housing @saltysurfhousings - it was so good to put it to the proper test over there while being underwater everyday ❤️

Ever been sized up for a play by a baby humpback whale ?

Moments underwater I dream about capturing.
Being Face to Face with this puppy like whale calf who seemed to be equally as interested as me as I was with it. Wanted to swim and play for hours.

Shot a few years ago on my first trip to the kingdom of Tonga - one of the most mind blowing group of islands I’ve been lucky enough to visit.

So excited to be heading back to this dream part of the world over next few weeks 🙏🏼

Behind the scenes from our Nikon ZR launch film “Dreams” - a huge couple of weeks putting this camera through its paces bringing this piece to life ahead of its international release.

We wanted to really put this camera to the test, so over the week we had it flying on FPV drones, in the water in a @saltysurfhousings , on gimbals, helmets cameras, car rigs, 800mm long lenses on tripods, handheld and everything in between,

Thanks to all the talent, cast and crew who helped pull this project together in record time,

And huge thanks for @nikonaustralia and RED trusting in me to keep this camera under wraps and putting together this project,

“Dreams” - To celebrate the release of the new Nik

“Dreams” - To celebrate the release of the new Nikon ZR Camera

The latest collaboration camera between Nikon and RED Digital Cinema.

So excited to be one of the first people in the world to get my hands on this amazing new piece of camera technology and help put together this launch film ahead of its international release.

After using a variety of @reddigitalcinema cameras for the last 10 years this bite sized camera really blew my mind,
 Similar to the size of an iPhone, strong enough be rigged / thrown anywhere you can image, a huge LCD back screen, Nikon Z mount, meaning it can be combines with any lenses and the biggest game changer of all - this camera shoots R3D RED Raw files - 4K up to 120fps and 6K 60fps.

Took my high speed camera (@freeflysystems Ember)

Took my high speed camera (@freeflysystems Ember) to the slopes the other week and captured some of the best in their element.

Always blows my mind watching snowboarders and skiers going for it - such a different world to the surfing world that I’m around most of the time but love watching it just as much.

A mix of my favourite frames shot on the freefly Ember at a mix of 800fps, 1000fps and 1500fps
