Postcards from the Arctic circle. Some favourite Postcards from the Arctic circle. Some favourite visions captured from a mind melting week spent at a remote camp in northern arctic Norway. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to witness and document Orcas in the water and this trip I finally got the chance and it blew all my expectations out of the park. Thank you to @valhallaorcaexpedition and all the guides / crew for an incredible week in the north. Can’t wait to get back here for some more moments like this. A mix of my favourite surf / ocean frames from thi A mix of my favourite surf / ocean frames from this past winter at home in Sydney. 🙏🏼 We got super lucky this year with a bunch of good swells lining up perfect conditions for a number of different spots on our coastline, So we had to make the most of it. Earlier in the year I purchased a new camera (@freeflysystems Ember) and it fully re ignited my spark for filming surfing again. @saltysurfhousings put together an amazing underwater housing for it and it was a match made in heaven. To have a small water camera setup and being able to capture ocean / water footage at 800fps or 1000fps was something that until now would of been almost impossible (or super expensive) Excited to see what I can capture in 2026! It’s going to be a good one 🙏🏼

Another amazing trip wrapped in the kingdom of Ton Another amazing trip wrapped in the kingdom of Tonga working on a dream project with @phoria.io @view_phoria Super excited to see what these guys do with this footage we captured. They are at the forefront of the VR space - specialising in cutting-edge Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality so being able to watch our underwater whale footage through virtual reality goggles / headsets and other outlets is going to be amazing 🙏🏼 This year on the islands definitely had its challenges - plenty of 3am wakeups, long days on out the boats, bad weather, whales on the move. It really felt like we had to work hard and put in the extra effort to get the shots we needed. But that’s all part of it and makes it all the more worth it when you have good days. Ever been sized up for a play by a baby humpback w Ever been sized up for a play by a baby humpback whale ? Moments underwater I dream about capturing. Being Face to Face with this puppy like whale calf who seemed to be equally as interested as me as I was with it. Wanted to swim and play for hours. Shot a few years ago on my first trip to the kingdom of Tonga - one of the most mind blowing group of islands I’ve been lucky enough to visit. So excited to be heading back to this dream part of the world over next few weeks 🙏🏼 Shot on @saltysurfhousings @reddigitalcinema
