A mix of my favourite surf / ocean frames from this past winter at home in Sydney. 🙏🏼

We got super lucky this year with a bunch of good swells lining up perfect conditions for a number of different spots on our coastline, So we had to make the most of it.

Earlier in the year I purchased a new camera (@freeflysystems Ember) and it fully re ignited my spark for filming surfing again. @saltysurfhousings put together an amazing underwater housing for it and it was a match made in heaven. To have a small water camera setup and being able to capture ocean / water footage at 800fps or 1000fps was something that until now would of been almost impossible (or super expensive)

Excited to see what I can capture in 2026!

Another amazing trip wrapped in the kingdom of Tonga working on a dream project with @phoria.io @view_phoria

Super excited to see what these guys do with this footage we captured. They are at the forefront of the VR space - specialising in cutting-edge Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality so being able to watch our underwater whale footage through virtual reality goggles / headsets and other outlets is going to be amazing 🙏🏼

This year on the islands definitely had its challenges - plenty of 3am wakeups, long days on out the boats, bad weather, whales on the move. It really felt like we had to work hard and put in the extra effort to get the shots we needed. But that’s all part of it and makes it all the more worth it when you have good days.

Thanks for the last minute new Siren / Raptor dive housing @saltysurfhousings - it was so good to put it to the proper test over there while being underwater everyday ❤️

Ever been sized up for a play by a baby humpback whale ?

Moments underwater I dream about capturing.
Being Face to Face with this puppy like whale calf who seemed to be equally as interested as me as I was with it. Wanted to swim and play for hours.

Shot a few years ago on my first trip to the kingdom of Tonga - one of the most mind blowing group of islands I’ve been lucky enough to visit.

So excited to be heading back to this dream part of the world over next few weeks 🙏🏼

Behind the scenes from our Nikon ZR launch film “Dreams” - a huge couple of weeks putting this camera through its paces bringing this piece to life ahead of its international release.

We wanted to really put this camera to the test, so over the week we had it flying on FPV drones, in the water in a @saltysurfhousings , on gimbals, helmets cameras, car rigs, 800mm long lenses on tripods, handheld and everything in between,

“Dreams” - To celebrate the release of the new Nikon ZR Camera

The latest collaboration camera between Nikon and RED Digital Cinema.

So excited to be one of the first people in the world to get my hands on this amazing new piece of camera technology and help put together this launch film ahead of its international release.

After using a variety of @reddigitalcinema cameras for the last 10 years this bite sized camera really blew my mind,
 Similar to the size of an iPhone, strong enough be rigged / thrown anywhere you can image, a huge LCD back screen, Nikon Z mount, meaning it can be combines with any lenses and the biggest game changer of all - this camera shoots R3D RED Raw files - 4K up to 120fps and 6K 60fps.
We wanted to really put this camera to the test, so over the week we had it flying on FPV drones, in the water in a @saltysurfhousings , on gimbals, helmets cameras, car rigs, 800mm long lenses on tripods, handheld and everything in between,
